How I know Jazz

I remember listening to Jazz with my brother and just chilling to the smooth sounds of the saxophone and the amazing beats that gets you off your feet.

I must say that I still listen to Jazz and my parents, friends parents and family still listen to Jazz daily. When its someone's birthday the Jazz music is present and just makes everyone feel alive.

You might think.. gosh you still young what do you know? I know that Jazz is a classically genre that so often brings people together to celebrate or to appreciate one another.

I remember last year my 2nd Mother and Father attended the Jazz Festival and they were so excited. I even remember when they got home, They spoke about there experience at the Jazz Festival and all the groups that they got to see- haha they even fell in love with Mi Casa , now at every gathering we have Mi Casa has to be on the play list.

That is the beauty of the Jazz Festival makes one experience all times of genres and people.

One Day I will get to the point of attending the Cape Town International Jazz Festival

The final week is here and the Jazz Festival is upon us, here in Cape Town. We looking forward to one of the Jazz Festival training and development#CTIJFTND programs this week.

The free concert is happening this Wednesday 25, March at 17:00 at Green market Square

Stress

Today I started my first year final exams. It didnt go as I expected because i'd be honest, I am really stressed with regard to all these assignment I have due.

I know its not an excuse, but....

Sometimes I just want someone to say its okay.

Fresh Start

Today is my new day




  • My beakie entails- a smoothie with 4 strawberries, paw paw,  half a banana, low fat berry yoghurt and two blocks of dark chocolate with orange flavour(after all dark chocolate increases ones metabolism).

  • (3 hours after breakie)My first snack- two boiled egg whites and two slices of bead with avo.

  • (3 hours after my snack) lunch entails fresh salad with smoked chicken.

  • (3 hours after lunch)2nd snack will be a banana with raw nuts(half a cup). This snack will give me eneergy for the much needed work out.

                                                      WORK OUT

  • Supper tonight will be grilled chicken, steamed green veggies and a boiled potatoe. including a glass of 50% juice anything more than 50% has to much sugar.

I am so looking forward to this day and the journey, I will lkeep you informed of my progress.

Disappointments in love

To often we are disappointed by people we surround ourselves with, why becasue we build trust and faith in them. Loving someone from a distance can be the hardest thing that you have to go through because you always have hope and faith that one day it will be your moment.

Why do we disappoint?
We all have expectations and those expectations need to be fulfilled, the promise is made and then broken because we didn't think of our ability to fulfill the expectation. Its not fair.

Even though I know I should not have trust in someone that is just going to disappoint me, its hard when Love is the core to the existance. Peace needs to be made that I'll always just be that the Twinkle star that comes out once a day.

Loving from a distance is just that- a distant feeling.

AB it Babe

So this is my secret weapon to making sure i feel on top of the world! To me, one's body should display a heallthy life style, enjoyment, fun, curiousity and self-satisfaction.

Like i know: I am not happy with my booty because as many of you do not know I was a South Aftrican Gymnast and that came with great benefits- I had the most amazing Abs and booty, well to me it was amazing!!!
Saddest part about not continuing gymnastics is that all my muscle and strength has faded into the shadows of  non-existance. I know that I am not happy about it so I have decided a while back that I will do something about instead of complaining and having low self-essteem.

So i'll share my exercise program for my Abs first:
  • 40 Jumping jacks
  • 15 lying toe touches
  • 10 roll-ups (slowly)
  • 3 lying leg raises
  • 40 bicycle crunches
  • 20 flutter kicks
  • 10 seated knee tucks
  • 5 roll-ups(extra slow)
  • 3 lying leg raises.10 reverse crunches
  • 10 lunge twist
  • 30 jumping jacks
  • plank for as long as you can
Do this program 4 times a week and circuit to be done twice a week.

My next fitness program will follow.Its really up to you, how happy you want to feel about yourself and boody
