Our Metabolism is just as important as building big muscles. At the age of 25, the avaerage person's metholism declines 5-10% per decade.
Some hints to increase your metabolism:
spicy foods have natural chemicalsthat can kick start your metabolism into higer gear. Cook food with one tablespoon of chopped green or red chilli. It has a temporary effect but regurly use will change the temporary into regular.
Our bodies burn more calories when eating proteins than carbo's and fats. A balance diet consisting of lean proteins- turkey, beef, fish,nuts, beans etc.
Black coffee taken moderately has short term benefits to increase metabolism rate.
Green tea offers the combined benefits of caffeine and catechins substances to rev up your metabolism for a couple of hours.
2-4 cups pushes your body to burn 17% more calories during moderately intense exercise for a short a short time.
Avoid crash diets
They are bad for anyone hoping to quicken their metabolism. Losing pounds quickly comes at the expense of good nutrition plus backfires sinces you can lose muscle, which in turn slows metabolism.
Your body burns calories slower and gain weight faster due to crash diets.
